Scientific Axis 3: Foster a decisive technological leap in engineering and control of light-induced surface modification effects

New bone substrates with physico-chemical properties and surfaces topography will be tested, through in vitro 2D and 3D cell culture experiments, for cell attachment, growth and differentiation with a relevant osteoblast model. We intend to manufacture osseous substrates to enhance osteogenic differentiation of human mesenchymal stem cells

Axis 3 will both exploit the fabrication and the properties (optical, chemical, mechanical, physical...) of Micro and Nanostructured surfaces, in order to develop functionnalized surfaces according to the targeted applications.
